Ava Curry brings elite on-base skills, defensive value, and versatile upside to Iowa
Ava Curry has been a high-impact utility player for Drake, appearing in 84 games with 75 starts over two seasons and earning 2025 All-MVC Second Team honors; her freshman year stood out for discipline and production, as she led the team in walks, runs, batting average, and on-base percentage, then added a perfect fielding percentage as a sophomore. She profiles as a fit for teams that value a left-right utility bat with plate patience, multi-hit ability, and dependable defense rather than just raw power.
