Efficient Illinois State guard with elite free-throw touch and steady playmaking
Vince Greene is a polished Illinois State guard whose profile is built on efficiency, with ESPN listing him at 8.8 points, 3.5 assists, 1.9 rebounds, and 44.2% shooting in his Redbirds career context, while Proballers highlights a 29-point, 7-assist game and the program notes he made nearly 90% of his free throws over his career, the best mark in school history.[6][2][4] The differentiator is his combination of scoring craft, ball-moving, and composure at the line, which suggests a reliable backcourt fit for a team that values decision-making and late-game trust over flashy volume.[4][6]
