Yale’s classic old-school linebacker with captain energy and All-Ivy pedigree
Jordan Haynes built his Yale reputation as a high-IQ, physical linebacker who led by example: in the 2011 season, he was Yale’s captain, led the team with 81 tackles, shared the team lead with 5 tackles for loss, and added 2 fumble recoveries, earning first-team All-Ivy honors. He also previously posted 102 tackles in the 2010 season, showing every-down durability and range. The standout here is not just production, but command of the defense, intensity, and trustworthiness in big moments—exactly the kind of tone-setter coaches love.
