experienced Kent State corner with proven ball skills
Elvis Hines brings veteran production and steady coverage instincts to Kent State. In the 2021 season, he posted 45 tackles and 3 interceptions, and his longer track record shows durability, playmaking, and consistency across multiple seasons. He’s the kind of corner who reads routes well, tackles reliably, and has enough experience to handle tougher matchups without looking rattled. The tradeoff: one athletic profile source pegs his explosiveness as limited, so teams valuing pure burst may look elsewhere, but if you want a savvy, battle-tested defender with real game experience, he’s a strong fit.
