Lamar Ceasar brings depth and ball skills to Portland State’s secondary
Lamar Ceasar is a Portland State cornerback with proven game experience and a concise stat line that hints at a steady, assignment-sound defender: in the 2025 season, he recorded 10 total tackles with 7 solo stops and 3 assists, while his prior college work showed 5 tackles in 2023 at Louisiana and 5 more in 2025 at McNeese before landing with the Vikings. His appeal is less flash than function—he looks like a competitive, developmental defensive back who can help in coverage and special teams, especially for a team valuing toughness, consistency, and roster flexibility.
