Senior Outfielder with High-Intensity Drive and Clutch RBI Ability for Alcorn State
Rayfield Adams III, a 5-9, 175-lb senior outfielder from Byram, Miss., stands out for his relentless intensity and clutch two-run single performance in the 2026 season against Mississippi Valley State, cutting the deficit in a high-stakes SWAC matchup. Though his 2026 stats show a .250 AVG and .703 OPS across 48 games, his differentiator is his fearless baserunning—evident in a 2024 caught-stealing incident that underscores his aggressive, high-risk style—and his ability to deliver RBI hits in tight games, like his 2026 sacrifice fly that scored him after a defensive error. Adams thrives in pressure moments, with a 17.9% SO% vs lefties and a .644 OPS against them, showing he can handle tough pitching. His personality is defined by grit and competitiveness, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a high-energy, clutch outfielder who elevates play in critical innings.
