Ben Norton is HCU’s late-inning steady hand, piling up saves and shutdown innings
In the 2026 season, Houston Christian pitcher Ben Norton has been a high-leverage weapon, with 4 saves and a strong bullpen presence highlighted by multiple scoreless outings, including three shutout innings with three strikeouts against Northwestern State and a clean ninth to close out Nicholls. He’s not just surviving pressure—he’s thriving in it, with command and poise that let HCU trust him in the game’s tightest moments. The appeal is obvious: if your team needs a cool-headed reliever who can miss bats and finish games, Norton fits the bill.
