VMI LB Carter Johnson offers size and depth value, but public stat data is limited
Carter Johnson is listed by VMI and ESPN as a linebacker at 6'3", 223 pounds, but the public results available here do not show current 2026 production, so his evaluation is more about profile than box-score output. His appeal is straightforward: he brings a college-ready frame for the linebacker spot and could fit a defense that values size, physicality, and developmental upside. Without recent tackle, sack, or turnover data in the sources provided, the main question for a team is not flash — it’s whether his athletic traits and practice consistency translate into reliable special-teams or depth value.
