Kenny Keller brings veteran lefty depth and a late-season relief spark to Central Michigan
Keller is a graduate-student LHP for Central Michigan whose value goes beyond the box score: he’s a seasoned arm with starter experience, a compact 5-11 build, and the kind of strike-throwing résumé that travels well. In the 2024 season at East Tennessee State, he logged 19 2/3 innings with 17 strikeouts and only six walks, and his CMU debut stretch in 2026 showed he can provide length out of the bullpen, including a three-inning scoreless outing with three strikeouts against Grace Christian. The catch: he’s not a big velocity headline, so his fit is about reliability, command, and innings-eating toughness.
