Jim Hart brings old-school linebacker grit to Butler’s defense
Jim Hart appears to be a Butler linebacker with a hard-nosed, physical profile and classic tackle-first value, which is exactly the kind of tone-setter coaches love in the 2026 season. The challenge: publicly available current stat detail on this specific Butler player is thin, so the clearest takeaway is fit—he projects as a downhill, effort-driven defender who should appeal to teams that prize toughness, consistency, and special-teams edge more than flash. If you want a blue-collar linebacker who can rally, hit, and keep the room competitive, he’s worth a look.
