Patrick Dawson brings depth and developmental upside to Toledo’s offensive line
Patrick Dawson is listed by Toledo as a backup offensive lineman, with the Rockets noting him at No. 2 at left guard in the preseason depth chart and having appeared in two games in 2007 as a reserve guard. That profile suggests a player valued for reliability, positional flexibility, and readiness rather than headline stats, which is exactly what matters in an OL fit. If you want a depth piece who can compete for snaps and understand a role without drama, Dawson looks like the kind of steady, system-friendly lineman coaches trust.
