Morehead State’s clutch, high-usage scoring guard
In the 2010-11 season, Demonte Harper was the engine of Morehead State’s offense, averaging 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 43.1% from the field and 37.3% from three; he also became the hero of MSU’s NCAA upset of Louisville with the game-winning three. He stood out as a tough, do-it-all guard with real shot-making, secondary playmaking, and defensive activity, and his All-OVC/All-America honors reflect a winner who delivered in big moments.
