Agile 6'6" Center with Elite Rim Protection and Marching Band Intensity
Melissa Leet is a uniquely agile 6'6" center for the North Dakota Fighting Hawks who ranked 24th nationally in blocked shots per game (2.23) during the 2021-22 season, showcasing elite rim protection that transcends her 5.3 PPG average. Her differentiator is her relentless intensity, forged by running straight from basketball practice to the Pride of the North Marching Band for two years, a trait that fuels her 6.2 rebounds per game (10th in Summit League) and 19-point single-game high. Leet's personality blends disciplined focus with playful versatility, making her a high-fit, battle-ready asset for any team needing a defensive anchor who plays with championship-level urgency and never tires, despite her 39.2% field goal average.
