Oakland’s old-school guard with a clean record and steady floor leadership
Shawna Shafer is listed as a 5'7" guard in Oakland’s women’s basketball program, but the only accessible school-record evidence here is an older roster entry, so there isn’t enough verified current-season production to evaluate her 2026 impact yet. What does stand out is the guard profile: likely a ball-handler who fits a control-the-tempo role, and the lack of injury or off-court noise is a plus for roster stability. If you need a dependable, low-drama lead guard, she’s worth a closer look; if you need instant stat-sheet fireworks, the current public data doesn’t prove that case.
