Zach Jones brings dependable, playmaking safety help to Baylor
Zach Jones has shown steady production and consistency at safety, including 64 tackles in the 2025 season with 42 solo stops, 2 tackles for loss, 1 interception and 1 pass breakup, which points to a defensive back who is active near the ball and reliable in space.[1] His value is in the details: he finishes plays, supports run defense, and has enough awareness to generate turnovers, making him a fit for a team that wants a low-drama, high-effort defender who can contribute immediately in the secondary.[1][4]
