Seth Simmer Brings Veteran, High-Motor Interior Help to Samford's Defensive Front
Seth Simmer projects as a reliable, physical **defensive tackle** whose value comes from experience, toughness, and steady interior work rather than flash; at Dartmouth he appeared in every game as a reserve and posted **26 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss**, and Samford described him as a hard-working graduate defender, which fits a player built to hold gaps, absorb blocks, and raise the floor of a defense. He looks like a good fit for a team needing mature, assignment-sound depth with the kind of intensity coaches trust on early downs and in rotation snaps.
