Gairges Daow brings steady freshman production and a versatile guard presence for NIU
Daow has carved out a real role for Northern Illinois as a freshman, leading the team’s first-year players in minutes, points, and rebounds while earning a starting opportunity early in his career.[1] Current stat lines show a modest but efficient guard contributor, and NIU’s video feature highlights a journey that suggests maturity, resilience, and buy-in to development.[3][4] He looks like a useful fit for a team needing a composed, improving guard who can defend, rebound his position, and grow into more offense without demanding the ball.
