Tayelor McCalister gives Detroit Mercy a steady two-way backcourt engine
McCalister’s value is built on balanced production and playmaking: in the 2025-26 Detroit Titans roster notes, she led the team with 3.3 assists per game while also ranking second on the squad with 11.7 points per game and 11th in the Horizon League in assists.[1] That profile suggests a guard who can organize offense, create for teammates, and still score enough to matter, making her a useful fit for teams that want a reliable connector rather than a one-dimensional scorer.[1]
