Damian Jones brings ball-hawking upside and veteran instincts to VMI’s secondary
Damian Jones profiles as a disruptive VMI defensive back with a history of production as a ball hawk: at Hermitage High School, he was a two-time All-District, two-time All-Academic selection who led his team in interceptions in back-to-back seasons and earned Second Team All-Metro honors as a senior. VMI’s roster listing also points to a smart, dependable defender with strong academic habits and return-game value. If you want a DB who plays with energy, reads the field well, and can flip momentum with a takeaway, Jones is worth a hard look.
