Dylan Gutierrez brings proven pass-rush production and veteran edge to Cal Poly’s defensive line
Gutierrez is a former Ventura High standout whose calling card is disruption: Cal Poly’s roster lists him at 6-foot-4, 265 pounds, and his high school résumé includes 19 sacks, 67 solo tackles, and 110 total tackles, showing real playmaking on the edge. [4][1] That profile makes him intriguing for a defensive staff that values size, motor, and backfield pressure, but his current college impact is not clearly documented in the available sources, so the safest read is that he projects more as a development-and-depth addition than a proven immediate starter.
