Sam Houston linebacker with a quiet-but-usable profile, but current verified 2026 production is unclear
Josh Hunt is listed as a linebacker for Sam Houston, but the available verified public data is thin on 2026 game production, so the best read is that he’s more of a roster/depth-chart evaluation than a headline stat star. One recruiting profile lists him at 6-1, 204 with a 4.70 forty, which points to decent range and functional speed for the second level. In practical terms, that suggests a player who may fit best in a scheme that values pursuit, coverage mobility, and developmental upside rather than instant-impact size.
