Former Notre Dame CB Cody Riggs brought veteran versatility and disruptive edge
Cody Riggs was a short, quick, physical corner with real slot versatility, and his Notre Dame fit was about experience as much as upside: at Florida he posted 51 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and three pass breakups in 2013, then arrived in South Bend as a proven transfer who could help immediately in coverage and run support.[3][2] He was a highly regarded defensive back recruit out of high school, ranked No. 197 nationally by 247Sports, and his value came from toughness, intensity and the ability to change roles within the secondary rather than pure size.[6][5]
