Cece Thorington brings elite speed, run-scoring spark to Michigan’s outfield
In the 2025 season, Cece Thorington gave Michigan a high-value table-setter off the bench and in spot starts: she appeared in 37 games, scored 19 runs, and posted a .368 batting average with seven hits and two RBI. Beyond the numbers, her calling card is game-changing speed—she was primarily used as a pinch runner and also set Pinckney school records for single-season hits (73), on-base percentage (.630), and stolen bases (60), while tying the Michigan area’s attention with a state record 130 consecutive steals. She looks like a fit for teams that want energy, pressure on pitchers, and instant offense.
