Mary Fountain Brings Veteran Guard Toughness to Southeastern Louisiana
Mary Fountain is a senior 5-8 guard for Southeastern Louisiana whose value goes beyond box-score stats: she’s an experienced, defense-first reserve with a history of bouncing back from injury and giving the Lady Lions steady minutes, physical effort, and timely plays when needed. In her earlier Southeastern stint, she returned after missing the first 14 games due to an injury, then immediately provided tough defense and key baskets off the bench, which hints at resilience, coachability, and a team-first mindset. She fits best as a dependable glue player who can stabilize a rotation and raise the competitive edge in practice and games.
