Efficient, physical veteran presence for Northwestern State
Kerwin Forges is remembered as a rugged, efficient Northwestern State guard/forward who brought real muscle to the floor: in his Demon career, he averaged 6.6 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 47.9% from the field, and in the 2004-05 season he posted 6.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and a 77% free-throw clip in 31 games. What makes him notable beyond the box score is the “consistent presence” label and his reputation as a post-friendly, high-effort connector who could give a team sturdy minutes, physicality and reliability—less flash, more win-the-possession energy.
