Deep-ball upside, but still a depth-piece WR for Iowa State
Messiah is a **small-framed, walk-on receiver** at Iowa State who has earned snaps and produced modestly, with **6 catches for 37 yards** in the most recent ESPN player stats available, making him more of a developmental role player than a featured target[3]. His value is in the underdog profile: he brings versatility, effort, and depth to the WR room, but current data does not show impact production or clear top-line separation traits yet[2][3]. For a team, he looks like a **low-risk, energy-add depth option** rather than an immediate difference-maker[2][3].
