Kentucky’s steady-shooting guard and classic glue-player spark
Jessica Hardin is a former Kentucky walk-on who earned a scholarship, which says plenty about her work ethic and coachability in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. At 5-foot-8, she was valued as a strong shooter and one of Kentucky’s better perimeter threats, and in the 2016-17 season she led the Wildcats in 3-point percentage at 12-of-33 from deep. She also brought a high-intensity, team-first profile—more craft and consistency than flash—which makes her the kind of guard who fits best with programs wanting toughness, shooting, and low-drama reliability.
