Record-Breaking Power Hitter Entering Transfer Portal
Gus Gregory, a 5'10", 180-lb junior left-handed hitter for Wright State, shattered the program's single-game RBI record with 11 runs (including a grand slam) in the 2025 season against Oakland, proving elite intensity and clutch power. His 2026 stats show a .259 average with 7 HR and 28 RBI, while his career BA sits at .305, highlighting consistent offensive production. Differentiators include his fearless approach (he nearly hit a grand slam by a foot in another game), high on-base percentage (.445 in 2026), and graduate transfer status, signaling maturity and readiness for immediate impact. With no major injury history and a business finance background, Gregory is a high-intensity, team-ready athlete who brings proven scoring ability and leadership—making him an ideal fit for any team seeking a reliable power hitter and versatile OF/INF with a winning mentality.
