Seth Valeri is a developmental Northwestern DB with size and two-way high school versatility
In the 2026 season, Seth Valeri is a redshirt first-year defensive back at Northwestern at 6-foot-0 and 190 pounds, with a background that included both wide receiver and free safety in high school[1][2]. He was a two-star prospect and earned all-area/all-county honors, which suggests a competitive, multi-sport-style athlete with some real ball skills and range[1]. He has not yet recorded game stats at Northwestern, so the big sell here is projection: a long, versatile DB who could grow into a useful special-teams and depth piece if his development keeps trending up[1][2].
