Tylan Morton brings dual-threat upside and big-play arm talent to South Alabama
Morton profiles as a **high-upside QB** with a **big-play passing pedigree** and enough athleticism to stress defenses outside the pocket; South Alabama lists him at quarterback, ESPN shows he has already produced **186 passing yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions** in current stats tracking, and his background includes a standout game with **510 passing yards and 7 touchdowns** at Griffin High, which points to true vertical-playmaking ability[1][5]. His differentiator is ceiling: a 6-4 build, dual-threat label, and proven explosive passing performances suggest he can fit an offense that values arm talent and improvisation more than a quick-game distributor[6][7].
