Pepperdine guard Malachy Caffrey brings proven scoring pedigree and high-motor walk-on energy
Caffrey’s appeal is his long-term scoring résumé — Pepperdine lists him as a guard who scored more than 1,200 career points in high school, and a campus profile describes him as a basketball-first walk-on with strong family roots in the game and a reputation for hard work and hustle. He did not appear in games before leaving the team midway through his sophomore season, so his current on-court value is more about background, fit and upside than recent production. If you want a competitive, team-oriented guard with a fearless mindset, he’s worth a look.
