Chris Jones brings veteran guard value, but this is a namesake check
The search results do not identify a current North Texas Mean Green guard named Chris Jones, so I can’t responsibly profile a specific current UNT player from the available sources. The closest matches are older North Texas alum Chris Jones and several unrelated pro players; the UNT Chris Jones listed in archived material was known as a steady playmaker and disruptive defender, finishing his career among UNT’s leaders in assists and steals. If you mean a different Chris Jones, share a link or full roster listing and I can give a precise fit-and-performance read.
