Eugene Minter Jr. brings size, speed, and upside to Charlotte’s TE room
Minter is a big-bodied, versatile tight end prospect at 6-4, 225 pounds who flashes above-average athletic tools—his measured testing included a projected 40 time in the 4.6s, a 32-inch vertical, and a 7.53 three-cone, suggesting movement skills that can create matchup problems. He transferred to Charlotte in 2022, and the available data shows a player with intriguing physical upside more than proven production, so he fits best as a developmental piece with room to grow into a reliable receiving threat and functional blocker.
