Eryka Sidney brings veteran guard stability and two-way savvy to Houston
Sidney is a seasoned, low-mistake guard who has shown reliable ball handling, passing, and active defense across her college career, including 140 assists and 46 steals in two seasons at Houston, plus a 2020-21 Houston line of 4.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in 16.8 minutes. Her differentiators are composure, vision, and versatility rather than high-volume scoring, and sources describe her as a quick-crossover, mid-range creator with a history of contributing in multiple roles. She looks like a fit for a team that values steady guard play, defense, and basketball IQ over pure shot-creation.
