Chip Thomas brings length, versatility, and upside to NC State’s linebacker room
Chip Thomas is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound outside linebacker prospect committed to NC State, giving the Wolfpack a long, athletic defender with the frame to play physically on the edge and the flexibility to develop into multiple roles. Publicly available recruiting info does not yet provide detailed college production or advanced stat output, so the appeal is mostly in his measurable upside, position fit, and the fact that NC State has a strong track record of developing linebackers. For a team looking for a high-upside linebacker build rather than a finished product, he is an intriguing fit.
