Illinois State DL Brandon Clark brings scheme fit, depth and punch up front
Brandon Clark projects as a useful defensive-line piece for Illinois State because the profile that matters most for a DL—size, leverage, and disruption potential—fits a Redbirds front that values active interior play. Publicly available roster and team-stat pages do not show a large stat résumé for him in the 2025 season, so the appeal is more about traits than box-score dominance: if he’s on your board, it’s for motor, role versatility, and the chance to develop into a steady rotational contributor rather than a finished product. In short: sturdy, coachable, and worth a look if your team wants a rugged interior add with upside.
