experienced DB with playmaking flashes, but limited recent statistical footprint
Calvin Watson Jr. is a Southeastern Louisiana defensive back whose profile is built more on ball skills and experience than on a big recent stat line. In the 2021 season, he recorded one forced fumble and no interceptions on ESPN’s listed stat log, and earlier roster notes show he arrived after a redshirt season at Grambling and brought a decorated high-school résumé, including 160 tackles and 10 interceptions in his final two seasons. He fits as a depth-and-development DB for a team that values instincts, toughness, and special-teams versatility.
