Lleyton Daily brings 6-3 power and strikeout upside to WSU’s rotation mix
In 2025 at Chandler-Gilbert CC, Lleyton Daily worked 25 innings across 11 appearances, went 1-2, logged one complete game, and struck out 23 batters, giving Washington State a 6-3 right-hander with clear swing-and-miss potential and room to grow. His profile reads like a low-ego, high-upside arm: durable enough to start, athletic enough to keep developing, and already on a college track that suggests he can handle pressure innings. He looks like a good fit if a team wants projection, competitive fire, and strikeout stuff more than polished, finished-product command.
