FIU guard Junior Matias brings size and versatility on the perimeter
Junior Matias is a **6-foot-2 perimeter player** for FIU, and his profile suggests a versatile guard/wing presence rather than a pure volume scorer.[2] In FIU’s 2024-25 season, the Panthers were a below-.500 team offensively, so players who can defend multiple spots, handle the ball, and make complementary plays matter more than ever.[1] The biggest fit question is whether a team values a sturdy, flexible two-way piece who can adapt to different lineups; the public stat trail is thin, so he reads more like a *role-value* fit than a marquee production bet.[1][2]
