Elite Size-Speed WR with 2nd-Best TD Record in Gophers History
Ernie Wheelwright, a 6-5, 220-lb senior WR from Minnesota, stands out with 159 receptions, 2,434 yards, and 26 touchdowns—second in school history for receiving TDs. His rare blend of size, speed, and route precision makes him a lockdown target in critical moments, not just a stat leader. Off the field, he’s known for intense preparation, a calm personality under pressure, and no major injury history, signaling durability and team-fit reliability. While stats show his production, his differentiator is intensity: he elevates teammates and thrives in high-stakes games. For any team seeking a physical, reliable WR with championship mindset, Wheelwright is a top-tier fit.
