Southern Miss DB Michael McGee: Emerging Golden Eagles Defensive Back with Untapped Potential
Michael McGee, a defensive back for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, brings athleticism and versatility to the secondary, as highlighted in his ESPN profile with live stats tracking his contributions in recent games. Standing out with his speed and coverage skills—evident from high school Hudl highlights showing DB/WR prowess—McGee differentiates as a high-motor player ideal for press-man schemes, though limited public 2025 season stats suggest he's still developing at the Group of Five level. No major injury history noted; his intensity makes him a solid fit for teams seeking depth and special teams upside in the NFL Draft conversation.
