Ariana Scales brings veteran guard savvy and steady scoring touch to Washington State
In the 2005 season, Ariana Scales was a dependable 5-8 guard for Washington State, averaging 5.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game while starting 8 of 28 games, which points to a plug-in contributor rather than a high-usage star[3]. Her value is in the less-glamorous stuff: ballhandling, composure, and the ability to fit into a rotation without needing the offense built around her[3]. She looks like the kind of guard coaches trust to keep the machine humming—efficient, experienced, and not afraid of the moment.
