Drew Mims brings steady, physical linebacker production for Samford
Drew Mims is a proven, downhill linebacker whose college résumé shows consistent tackling production and disruptive flashes, including 80 total tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks over three seasons at South Florida, plus a strong 2022 Samford season with 54 tackles and 2.0 TFLs[2][4]. In available career stat summaries, he’s shown a reliable tackle floor and the kind of rugged, assignment-sound style that fits a defense needing a physical presence in the middle[1][4].
