Elijah Hamilton brings veteran, versatile DB value to Louisiana Tech
Elijah Hamilton is a 6-2, 205-pound defensive back who gave Louisiana Tech a reliable, position-flexible presence in the secondary, with 23 tackles, 1 pass breakup, and 0.5 tackles for loss in the 2021 season. His biggest differentiator is versatility: he moved between deep coverage and the slot, which is exactly the kind of modern, scheme-friendly flexibility coaches love. He wasn’t a splash-stat machine, but he offered steady, physical depth and experience. If your team wants a DB who can adapt, tackle, and handle multiple coverage roles, Hamilton fits the “trustworthy glue guy” profile.
