Mercyhurst’s Carson Phillips brings a live right arm and swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Mercyhurst right-hander Carson Phillips is listed on the roster as a 6'2" sophomore RHP, and his limited stat line suggests a developing arm with small-sample volatility rather than a polished, high-volume role[1][2]. The biggest takeaway: he’s the kind of pitcher teams monitor for tools and growth potential more than headline numbers right now, with enough size and mound profile to project into a useful bullpen or depth starter lane if his command tightens up; he also showed some traffic in brief action, including two walks and a wild pitch in one April 2026 outing[1][3].
