Nana Owusu-Anane is a do-it-all Grand Canyon forward who rebounds, defends and stretches the floor
Owusu-Anane has been a high-minute, high-impact frontcourt piece for Grand Canyon, averaging about 9.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals in the 2025-26 season while playing roughly 33 minutes per game. His value goes beyond the box score: he brings physical rebounding, ball-skills for a forward, switchable defense and enough perimeter shooting to keep defenses honest, and he’s shown he can deliver in big games with a 19-point, 15-rebound postseason performance at Brown. The main question is health, since he missed the 2024-25 season due to injury, but when available he looks like a rugged, versatile fit for winning teams.
