Willie Butler Jr. brings DB depth and upside to Nicholls
Willie Butler Jr. is a Nicholls defensive back whose profile suggests developmental upside more than flashy stat production, with ESPN listing him on the Colonels’ roster and his earlier prep and recruiting trail showing he has stayed on the college-football path through multiple programs.[3][1][4] There are no readily available season statistics in the sources provided, so the key takeaway is fit: he looks like a depth-and-competition piece for a secondary that values athleticism, versatility, and coachable players who can grow into a role.[2][3] For a team evaluating fit, he appears more intriguing for potential than proven box-score impact right now.
