Penn State Guard with Elite Playmaking Vision No Longer Active on Court
Niya Beverley, the 5'7" Penn State Lady Lions guard, averaged 7.0 PTS, 2.6 REB, and 2.9 AST with a 39.3 FG% in her most recent season while leading the Big Ten in assist-to-turnover ratio during her Wisconsin days—her superpower is razor-sharp decision-making and floor leadership that elevates teammates. Career highs include 19 points vs. Penn State, but she's transitioned to coaching as American University's assistant (elevated May 2025) after a UConn grad assistant stint. Ideal for teams needing a cerebral point guard mentor; her intensity and academics make her a program-changer off the bench or sidelines.
