Carley Mulcahey brings polished right-handed command to Pacific’s circle
In her 2026 season at Pacific, Mulcahey showed usable mid-rotation value as a freshman, posting a 3.72 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 43.1 innings and delivering her best stretch in longer relief and spot starts, including a 4.1-inning shutout outing against Santa Clara. Her calling card is a hard right-handed arm that works down in the zone and mixes speeds effectively, which gives her a competitive edge when she’s locating. She looks like a useful fit for a staff that values poise, pitchability, and innings-eating depth.
