Colton Francis brings freshman-sized mass to Morehead State’s defensive front
In the 2026 season, Morehead State freshman DL Colton Francis is a 6'2", 300-pound interior defender who already looks built for trench warfare. His early stat line is modest — ESPN lists him with 1 total tackle in the 2026 season — but that doesn’t tell the whole story: at his size, he’s the kind of plug-and-play body that can help control gaps, absorb blocks, and free up teammates. If you want a young developmental lineman with legitimate frame and raw interior upside, he’s worth a closer look.
